June 20th & 27th: "The Jubilee Year for Priest: Parts One and Two"--Pope Benedict XVI announced that the universal Church will celebrate a "Jubilee Year for Priests", beginning June 19th, 2009, the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and celebrating the 150th anniversary of the death of the Patron Saint of parish priests, St. John Vianney.
In the next two episodes of Weekly Wisdom Fr. Corapi presents a moving sermon encouraging all of us to celebrate this year in some personal and significant way, recalling how important priests are in our lives.
Remember, five of the seven sacraments require a validly ordained priest. NO PRIEST, NO EUCHARIST. No Eucharist, no source, center and summit of the Church's life.
Don't miss this educational and moving sermon by Father John Corapi for this "Year of the Priest".

July 4th: "Independence"--In this episode of Weekly Wisdom Father gives a powerful and passionate speech on what it means to be truly free. Freedom and truth are intertwined, and when we abuse freedom, we lose freedom. When we are a slave to sin, we can never be truly free. Father also discusses the great country of the United States and helps us to understand that if we as Christians don't stand up for morality and God, we are going to continue down the path of self destruction, and the United States will soon lose it's ground as the greatest country on earth. Remember on this Independence Day that freedom is rooted in truth, which is not a something, but a somebody. His name is Jesus Christ.
